block prints

I come from a really artsy family, and one thing that’s been an on-going tradition with us since I was a little kid is we (the kids) always try to do handmade cards for the rest of the family. My sister was always the champion of this growing up, and she still basically is, except sometimes her job and other responsibilities get in the way. And that is essentially why I decided to get into block printing- I can make everybody a really nice, handprinted card, and it always takes a while, but it takes a lot less time than it would if I was making them individually. Since that epiphany, it’s become one of those things that I really enjoy doing, and I love coming up with fun new designs.
